Tomorrow’s Sunday Morning Bible Lesson...

For the Sunday morning Bible lesson I have chosen two verses for the purpose of teaching a lesson no one else has thought to teach you before. You can thank me later.

In Genesis 2:17, God tells Adam and Eve regarding the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil He had placed in the Garden, "In the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die."

A short while later in Genesis 3:4 the Serpent, Satan, tells them "Ye shall not surely die."

What happened? Adam and Eve ate of that forbidden fruit and, not only did they not die, but for the first time since their creation they were able to see things as they really were.

So, as evidenced by the words of the Bible itself, the first truth ever told to mankind was told to us by Satan, and the first lie ever told to mankind was told to us by God.

Ruminate on that a bit, and make of it what you will.

I appreciate your attempt … but it’s near totally lost on someone who equates such horse feathers with Goldilocks, little Red Riding Hood or the Billy Goat Gruff 😀

Are you seriously gonna “preach” this in a church? You sir, are my hero.

You had better wear a rain coat and galoshes, b/c when the Christian's head explodes, you're gonna wish you had them on.
