Many people feel that religion is a good thing, whether they believe in god or not. I think practicing religion and having a religious orientation is one of the most destructive forces on the planet, and does more to alienate people and foster a basis for wars and senseless murders, than to any other activity; and does nothing to unify us.
What are your thoughts? How about "Spirituality"? Is that just religion in disguise?

Depends. If you are talking about "spirituality" as in "magic", then it is a bunch of bunk and is damaging to at least some degree. if you are talking about "spirituality" as in experiencing "awe and wonder", then it is fine and possibly a good thing.

Spirituality is another form of religion. Still no evidence.Extreme religion is never a good thing.

I agree with you when it comes to organized religion. However, Eastern religions, such as Buddhism does not seem to invoke violence.

Buddhism is essentially an atheistic religion as well; however, just look at the violence happening now between the Buddhists against the Rohingyan Muslims and apparently violence is unavoidable, due to religion.

I have never heard of anyone flying a plane into a building "because atheism". Yep there will be some wacko out there that eventually does. That being admitted, religion constantly has martyrs that kill "because God". That does not strike me as being healthy for the perpetrators or victims.
