Once upon a time in the West...just wanted to share my journey as to how i arrived here. Born raised catholic...baptism ..confession. communion ...confirmation...12 yrs of private school...for my fellow non- practicing catholics you kno one thing is amiss..in 5th grade our sister/ teacher stated its that time in your young lives where i ask the boys to raise their hands and volunteer for serving god as alterboys...@ 10 yrs old i knew i didnt want to be a part of this ritual...maybe it was the latin..getting up early...giving of my play time..idk..maybe all of it..my hand was the only one that stayed on my desk. After the count ..my teacher stated emphatically ..in ALL my years of teaching this is the only time that i have Not had 100% participation for the privilege to serve our lord. All eyes focused on me. I froze with a bit of shame, but @ 10 i held steadfast.I had nothing to reach for in my uniform pocket a metaphor for my brain to help me escape the momment that surrounded me. Obviously i weathered what seemed to be a very long day for me. I recently looked back on my report card for that year...Straight As n Bs ..when i got to comportment..Straight F. The sister had cast vengeance in the only way she knew. Pedestrian @ the very least..however effective..1 week grounded by my parents...lol. I now hav accumulated some places in my pockets ..i.e. conscience. The lesson i learned is that you can be singled out even ostracized for having a differing view, implementing an escape is vital to self preservation. Thank you sister for teaching me that life's lesson @ 10 years.

I'm sorry that happened to you.

The Catholic church is an organized pedophile ring, and parents who send their kids to Catholic churches and schools should be prosecuted along with the sexual predator priests for putting their children in harm's way.

By the way, this website has a bit of a learning curve, so here's some info, in case you need it.

For members who are open to dating, certain thumbnails and profiles have a heart symbol on them with a percentage. This identifies which members are open to dating, and the percent shows approximately how compatible others are with them.

You gain website points by answering all the profile questions and writing a bio, which also earns website points, and helps other members get to know you.

Commenting on posts and writing your own posts earns more points. At level two you can private message people, and at level eight you get an agnostic T-shirt.

If you want to date, the website uses profile algorithms to find member matches, so the more details one includes, the better the match.

Many people prefer to see a written profile talking about interests, hobbies, and backgrounds that can be quickly perused to find others with similar interests..

In case you didn't know yet, to find members near you, click on the "Browse" button at the top of the page, then on "Members," and enter your preferred search parameters.
Click on the "Discuss" button, then "Nearby" to find members near you also.
Or click on the "About" button at the top left of the page to find links to FAQ or the website tutorial.
Points are now being given to level 3+ members who chat. You can see chat rooms on the group main page or at [agnostic.com].

You can include a link to this post in your posts and comments by including the text q:171023
