Would you expect TWYL (pronounced "twill" or sometimes til'will) to be the first pronounced text message abbreviations once TTYL gets surpassed? LOL? Not pronounced "lowl" or "lull".

Bee-tee-dubs (BTW) That's my guess. I definitely say lol (I don't spell it out, it's an acronym so i just say 'lowl',) but I've never been a big user of TTYL or TWYL (the latter is an acronym so it's a less awkward phrasing, but honestly they both sound like someone trying to do a hipster variant of the Tigger signoff (TTFN.) I just say laters, or I say bye or goodnight or whatever.
