Hard to read. I am aware of the history in America, Australia and around the world.

What is wrong with some people? Is there a mutation in their DNA that creates this kind of cruel thinking/belief? The 1880's thinking has not gone away, you see it at trump rallies, you see it with Miller and Sessions' immigration policies. I sure hope the vote in Nov. goes blue, America must get rid of this thinking and lead the world. Can Canada or Australia step it up and educate people? I do not mean just white folk but the Middle east, China and Russia.

Black and brown people do not matter to some whites and those are the people we somehow need to reach.

I really didn’t really want to read this, it sounded gruesome, I needed no further proof of the horrors that white colonials perpetrated on native peoples. However I did and once again I was horrified.
We all should be aware of what our forebears did in the name of Empire building and stop harping back our glorious past....it was far from that....inglorious would be more apt. As a British citizen I know we can’t be held accountable for past horrors, but a bit more humility and acknowledgement would not go amiss. The descendents of these British settlers in Western Australia should do likewise. We should not ignore or whitewash history but teach today’s children about it and use it as an example of how never to behave again.
