The Golden Rule - Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

A very general rule that does not always work ... lol for instance although complementary pure sadists do not want the same as masochists.

You beat me to it. I sure wish more people would follow this.

cutting down population big time, all working as one and taking what we need rather than what we want.

That EVERYBODY else's life is as valuable as your own. Also, to drink coke so we can live in perfect harmony.

And I would like to buy the world that coke..

Carl Sagan had the best answer for that, and it was the everyone had the image of the pale blue dot planet earth taken from millions of miles in space in their heads. That's what humanity needs, that perspective. Many don't have it, and religious parochialism flows from it. I agree with Carl.

I always try to recall that perspective, David, when I start to feel sorry for myself, or too self-important.

You now have similar reminder in the #HumanityStar.

Having casual sex is ok. Doesn't make people whores. Just don't force someone to do anything they don't want to do.

Loving kindness and how to cultivate it within yourself. As I'm writing this I think 'it's easy but takes consistent practice -so maybe as well as talking about it on the interweb you should reinvigorate your own practice?'

I like thst. It's my day off, I just woke up and had a shower (gone 9am!!!!) And having a little look at this site while i drink my coffee has already given me some ideas 🙂

How to be a skeptic.... I'm so tired of explaining that just because someone made a documentary or wrote a book does not mean that it's true

The concept of reality. Believing in things because it feels good or for any other reason than evidence that it is true is damaging. Reality is the only way forward and the only honest way to live

It may sound silly, but the "Neverending Story" got this one right - I'd wish for them to have a heart.
Teaching compassion and love brings with it humility, morality, and dignity. It's the lesson that keeps teaching.

Tell the Truth is neck-and-neck with Mind Your Own Business for me, right now.
