You may have read that religious wing nut Pat Robertson is saying that he is going to pray away the approaching hurricane Florence so it won't hit his TV stations.

Although we laugh, because Pat is such a misogynist jerk, anyone can control the weather, and it doesn't take a bunch of dramatic "prayer" or rain dances..a simple thought, even a desire for a particular weather will easily change the weather, once you're used to doing it.

In fact, the Native American Indians did it, and captive white children who were later returned to their families also could control the weather, despite the religious teachings of their Christian white families to the contrary. It was too late-they already knew better.

I realized that in the early 1980s and proceeded to change the desert climate in Durango, CO, where I was living at the time because I didn't like the water shortage laws.

I made it rain whenever I liked, even started snowstorms when I read in the newspaper that ski resorts were suffering from lack of snow, etc.

I taught my kids when they were still toddlers to do it, and they did the same thing, even turning away approaching tornadoes, etc. Even an ex boyfriend made an approaching twister go a different direction, just from observing me.

The only reason everyone doesn't do it is because people are taught that they CAN'T control the weather.
Fine by me.

I never told people about our power over the weather because I wanted the weather control all to myself and I'd found that when a lot of people believe a certain thing, such as it "always rains during the county fair," it takes a bit longer to counter that collective belief and keep the weather sunny.

But if an unexpected snowstorm came up, I'd get suspicious if I hadn't ordered it, and I'd ask my daughter if she'd forgotten to study for an upcoming test again. It was almost always her..delaying school because she forgot about a project that was due the next day, etc.

Out of courtesy, I'd allow her weather order to stand, but would tell her to clear it up for the next day or I'd do it myself.

For the brainwashed among you:
Physics indicates that we are participating in creating our own universes/reality.

“Consciousness is fundamental, and matter is derived from consciousness." – Max Planck, theoretical physicist who originated quantum theory, 1918 Nobel Prize in Physics

Quote:

“A fundamental conclusion of the new physics also acknowledges that the observer creates the reality. As observers, we are personally involved with the creation of our own reality. Physicists are being forced to admit that the universe is a “mental” construction.

Pioneering physicist Sir James Jeans wrote: “The stream of knowledge is heading toward a non-mechanical reality; the universe begins to look more like a great thought than like a great machine. Mind no longer appears to be an accidental intruder into the realm of matter, we ought rather hail it as the creator and governor of the realm of matter.

Get over it, and accept the inarguable conclusion. The universe is immaterial-mental and spiritual.” – R.C. Henry, Professor of Physics and Astronomy at Johns Hopkins University , “The Mental Universe” ; Nature
