i don't think about any gods. well, sometimes i think fondly of prometheus, but he was a titan. you may think i am being facetious here but i honestly don't think about what god might be because i am pretty darned sure there is no such thing. so why should i wonder what it is? it isn't part of my life. you believe in something larger than yourself. i do too: my planet. there is something even larger, though: my universe. i don't know all the details about those things, but then, i don't even know all the details about the city in which i live. i learn new stuff all the time, and stuff changes faster than i can learn it. none of it has anything to do with gods. i don't think in terms of larger or smaller, more or less powerful, more or less important beings than i. i try to be the best me i can be.

Hey Genessa, I guess what I was trying to convey is what people think of when they try to picture what God is ?

Not projecting on what other people think but to me I consider myself too massively uniformed to reach a conclusion that may be beyond my capacity to fully grasp in a logical way.
for instance....if God created all things (quarks, atoms, etc)then God is not made from these things. for God created them
If God is not these things then what ? If God is a being, Comprised of what ? If God is not made of these things perhaps God is these things. you see we could go on and on.when I think of God, to me is beyond space, time, any physics. and if so...then who am I to say or conclude. I am a very logical person and ask all questions. I don't consider myself one who easily boards a train of the collective
mind. I like science but yet I understand the limitations of science. I'm incredulous when people say we know how the universe works and came to be but can't cure allergies. we create prescriptions for ailments that have severe side effects which tells me we don't exactly understand what we are doing. I often ask myself what is Intelligence ? and if I have it where did I get it ? I have electrical and mechanical understanding. when I see a car I note that it is made from many different parts that perform specific individual tasks all working together to function and I also know that this car is created from intelligence and a set of instructions to put together. then I think of me, a human being made from many individual parts to perform specific individual tasks all working together to function as a human. I must consider what "intelligence" made my parts and put me together. Isn't it astounding that my genes are programmed instructions to put me together from start to finish automatically. I must ask myself what is this Intelligence. why do I have eyes ? how does it know there is light to see. how does it know how to create an eye, how does it know anything about any of my parts ? when an intelligent doctor explains to me through his knowledge of all my parts and how they work...it should be noted some other intelligence already knew that which is why the doctor himself is here in the first place...ets.etc.etc

@onan180 and what i am conveying is that people who know there is no god do not try to picture a god.

An utter bastard. Every time I watch the news I think if I'm wrong and there is a God, they are an utter bastard.
