Any Russian speakers in the community? I would appreciate some opportunity for an interlocutor or two of conversing/writing in Russian. As a Russian historian and specialist, I would also be keen on analyzing Russia, the former Soviet space, and focusing on facts, not simply opinions. I'm not Russian and do not speak the language but I use a lot of their English versions of computer cracks and hacks. Anything from KMS to Dr. Web antivirus. On 3 or more occasions in the past nothing would work for me and Dr. Web emergency rescue saved my ass. Using suck programs I've found stuff on my computers that should have been erased over 5 years before. Sometimes these leftovers will cause a problem and I don't find that many programs that catch them.

I do not deal so much with these issues. I am more focused on cultural, social, political, and gender issues related to the former Soviet space: Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Central Asia, etc.
