I didn't know if I should post this under "Religion & Spirituality" or "Love & Relationships"...
What does it say about love as we understand it that entire religions are based on the idea that an ultimate creator's vision of unconditional love somehow exists in tandem with that creator's authority to condemn its followers to unspeakable torture for things like lack of devotion?
