Let's get something straight about this Kavanope situation. If the democrats had the (attempted) sexual assault allegations back in July, they should have said something. As disgusted as I am with the behavior of the republicans regarding this SCOTUS nominee (as well as just about everything else they've been engaging in), the democrats have not worked hard enough to derail this nominee. Just remember, the GOP didn't even interview Merrick Garland. They just blindly blocked his nomination, and didn't even allow for confirmation hearings. I don't want to hear, from anyone, that the democrats are trying to be "obstructionists". That's hypocritical bullshit, and I'll call it out every single time.

"the democrats" didn't have this back in july. ford wrote to her congresswoman. i don't know how long it was, then, before the congresswoman gave it to feinstein. feinstein knew ford wanted to remain anonymous, and she did something so very few people do: THINK. she thought. then she decided that she could share the generality without revealing the identity of the complainant. when it became clear that this was not entirely a success, that it was likely she would be revealed as the complainant despite her best efforts, ford came forward (today). feinstein was caught between two concerns. ford has now freed her from this trap. we are awfully quick to condemn people for not deciding rapid-fire on things that after the fact seem easy. you're not in feinstein's position. you don't know everything she had to consider (i don't either; i've only names a little bit of it).

Horseshit. Feinstein still could have shared the information without revealing Ford's identity. Perhaps, Ford would have come forward sooner, before the confirmation hearings even started. There was no "trap".

@KKGator well you obviously know exactly what is on people's minds regardless of whether they know, themselves. judging without knowing all the facts is obviously a joy of some kind. it's a joy i don't feel.

@genessa What you "feel" or don't, is no concern of mine. I also do not give a flying rat's ass what you think about me either. Or whether you do at all.
Be well. Bye, bye.

@KKGator obviously. in fact i can't help wondering why you would post for comment here if you get mad when people don't agree with you. i wasn't due in my disagreement. you can disagree without calling out horseshit and not giving a flying rat's ass what someone thinks of you. as it happens, i don't give a flying rat's ass whether or not you care what i think of you, but that's neither here nor there. bye bye to you as well.

I've sure wondered about that as well.
