As I dotn' watch TV that has commercials but just stream movies without commercials, I have not seen that ad. However, I am curious as to what kind of product they were advertising.
Of course commercials don't have to make sense. When I lived in L.A. I worked on a commercial where we actors ran around in the rain scared of some giant Godzilla type of monster. The commercial was to be aired in Japan, and they were advertising a feminine hygiene product.

I think drug commercials of all types should be banned. What medicines are needed is between the patient and their doctor.

You shouldn't be able to advertise any drug that can't be bought off the shelf. We pay for that marketing.
