So yesterday I was walking out of a store and a young man asked me if I'd like to hear about their ministries. I politely said no thank you and said I'm an Athiest. He then said "God bless you". Asshole. I wanted to go back and give him a piece of my mind but I digressed. I found it so irritating tho.

I usually see just a random blessing by a Christian as something they do just to have something to say. For example when you sneeze they also say “god bless you”, it doesn’t mean much, so I don’t take it seriously. Live and let live.

I don't when I sneeze either but this guy was pushy and just a jerk IMO.
