I hate having to wonder what country I should move to if the November elections don’t go well, or if fake 45 remains in office in 2020. I love what this country almost became but hate what it’s turning into.

Canada sounds like a good choice ... Hmmm. Thx for the info... Short trip for me

Cape Breton in Canada offers citizenship in One Year if you buy property and invest &10,000.00, in a new or established business. Depressed economically, declining population. Houses stay on the market for literally years, a nice waterfront 2 bed can be had for 60,000. If you can work from home, or are retired, go there! They are actually running a campaign to attract "settlers". Weather like southern New England, scenery like Scotland (think Lord of the Rings), thriving Seasonal hiking & Scottish dancing tourism, and a distillery/factory for fine single malt liquor

That doesn’t sound too bad. I’ll be retired if I move. Not sure about investing in a business or starting one. I could buy property. Thanks for the info

@Blookie investing would give you little work and an interest in life!?

Pick wisely! There's not to many places safe to choose from that aren't touched by the movement to the right gearing towards fascism. And you have to be quite wealthy to live in the places that are safe that might avoid that movement. Even some of them are slowly having their governments taken over by the right.

Just VOTE and hope the Millennials start voting and save us all from the post-Nazi white supremacists.
Like three of my siblings, who recently bragged about being Trump followers (sigh). I defriended them and cut off all contact.

I’ve decided to go down with the ship … a thorn in their sides to the end and to the best of my ability. And it’s not like healthy nations just ‘let Americans in’ anymore 😕 But Cut-throat Capitalism and Dysfunctional Democracy is apparently not working…

I'm gonna try to make it to my retirement and then maybe Canada?

Canada is high on my list. I could retire but the cost of health insurance makes me hesitant.
