The US political system is not fit for purpose anymore. Just think of it, it is a system with just two main parties, if you want to go into politics you will have to make your views suit one of them. All your politicians end up being men of a corrupt and very flexible character, who don’t work according to principle but try to get as many votes as possible.
Then there is the influence of money which means there is no level playing field and almost no possibility for new parties to enter the sphere. It just speaks to a broken, dishonest system where good men are going to be rare to find.

right? It only serves the establishment in keeping us divided. The people UNITED will never be defeated and they know it.
"You will have to make your views suit..." not anymore, there is a broad spectrum of views, and some politicians no longer even mention their party affiliations (especially Repugs, just sayin.....)

I've been saying we need to get rid of the two party system for years. I wish Sanders would have become president. Johnson didn't have a snowballs chance in hell. I don't vote for someone just because they have a D or a R stamped on their head (but I am a registered Democrat). I should change it to Libertarian. Don't know what good that would do. We only have red and blue states.
