Can’t say any books really help. Get out and about instead of sitting at home reading would be my advice.

I lost my mom two weeks ago, just thought there were books about dealing with this.

@bleurowz So sorry for your loss. It is always hard to lose your mother at any age. There may be books others can recommend which could be helpful, but I don’t know of any. Do you have other family members near....it is sometimes easier to bear with others having a bond of kinship and shared memories. You will have a lifetime of memories of your mother to cherish and that is what you will remember with fondness after a while when the rawness of your grief has passed. Only the passage of time can really ease the pain I think and getting out and about and trying to get back into a normal routine with friends and family is still good advice I think. Hugs ?.

Books won't help if you're depressed.

Taking an early morning walk resets your thyroid for more energy and better mood.

Also, taking CBD oil, found in most health food stores, relieves anxiety and sadness.

Link: A 2015 study concluded that CBD oil treats numerous forms of anxiety, including social anxiety disorder, panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder.

Cannabidiol not only made participants feel better but also changed the way their brains responded to anxiety.

This is about the fifth time you've told me about CBD oil about various things, and it's the same verbiage each time. While I'm happy it's worked for you, I wish you would stop because it sounds like proselytizing. I lost my mother two weeks ago -- I am talking about GRIEF -- this is the last thing I need to hear.

I think the Chicken Soup for the Soul books has one about loss and grieving.

Thanks, I will look into it.

@bleurowz You're welcome.

Years ago when my father passed away I read “nobody’s child anymore”. Truly helped.
