I have friends who belong to the Bhramah Kumari and they believe that the end of the world will be coming. First it was in the 60s, then the 70s, then the 80s and so on and so on. They find it difficult to explain how come it has not happened yet.

If all possible outcomes are always played out in other alternate realities, then it has ended, many times, and we just happen to have always take the path were it did not.
Maybe there's trouble with his warp drive and he's stuck in the Delta quadrant.

That's right. Too bad they never went there. And please, do not mention the blasphemy that was ST5. I found the video of it in my house, long ago, and asked my son how it got there, to which he replied, a friend left it and wouldn't take it back.
