“Trump is not an idealogue”...since when has economic libertarianism not been an ideology? He is the living embodiment of a man with a plan and a very clear ideological perspective - he has forever wanted ultimate power and fortune, he is THE capitalist who used others to plan a power grab.
Behind him are the maniac zealots of Christofacism.
If you cannot see the parallels, from child separation and encampment to the takeover of all institutions and the indoctrination rallies, then woe America and the world.

Doug Stych makes a lot of good points but dammit there are still similarities. People do find differences and similarities in every instance. Are we strengthening his base when Trump said he could shoot somebody in the middle of Main street and not lose them? Trump will keep his base no matter what so I'm not really worried about hurting their feelings. They are the same people who hated Obama with a real passion and they agreed with Alex Jones that Hillary and Obama had the odor of sulfur on them because they had come from hell. I don't see this divide ending any time soon.
