Recent posts have reminded me of events occurring north of Australia and the plight of the West Papuan people living under the oppression of Indonesian rule. I therefore wish to share with you the New Year's message from a man currently living in exile and ask you to not only read what he said but also familiarise yourself with the reasons for the plight of the West Papuan people together with acquainting your family, friends, work colleagues and political representatives with the situation.
