Allow?
The last time my wife used a washing machine was three washing machines ago, she looks at the new washer dryer like a five year old looking at a page of calculus.

I don't blame her, those things are ridiculously overengineered. The Second Law of Thermodynamics just looks at them and cackles evilly.

Almost all the guys I ever lived with (and I've had several male roommates/housemates) were a lot better at keeping things clean than I could ever be. ?

Only women who have been living with men understand why. It is not like we don't want them to or that we are in any way preventing them from being equal, but it is dam hard to get them off the sofa in the first place.

yes it best policy NOT to live with your partner unless there are kids and then it is all hands on deck

Has it occurred to you, you may just have bad taste in men?

@LenHazell53 Well, if I have then so do most of my female friends too.

@Jolanta Quite possibly, there are 7.5 billion people in in this world, so I dare say a lot of them, male and female have been taken in by a lazy idiot (I know I have) but that does not mean you won't find a good one in the end, if you are willing to broaden your horizons, that's what I did and got my self a wonderful wife the second time, Just so happens that until her accident she was the main bread winner and is a mechanical idiot (still calls a DVD player a video and can't operate a washing machine, but that's okay because I can and do).
