I walked more than 5K this morning. In the US that sounds so much grander than 3.2 miles. Haven't walked that far in so many years, so this is a good thing. Saw a new low number on my scale, also a good thing. This not working at a job stuff is good for me.
Didn't work. Motorway was chocca, I was late for the class, bumped my car, couldn't find parking, the new uni IT systems didn't work, central time tabling allocated a really horrible classroom for my lesson, students were fed up, didn't have time to print off my lecture notes (everything crossed I remember all the right answers), muggled through the lesson, got back to my office to prep for my masters students only to discover I'd been stepped down, decided best thing would be to come home, lay down and fell asleep! I still feel ill and not prepared for tomorrow's lessons either. (I need a week off!)
