Well. I've just begun this very morning teaching myself Arabic. It's quite interesting as a language - very difficult - but interesting. I felt it was time to reset the part of my brain that thinks you can't teach an old ahole new tricks.

Awesome. I'm teaching myself Arabic as well. For some reason, one of the phrases I had to learn was "I drink mineral water". LOL. But I don't drink mineral water.

I'm still in the alphabet! What are you using to learn it? I decided to try Udemy, and the app called Write It.

@PolyWolf I started with Pimsleur, which I liked but it's not an app. It's mostly aural/oral for conversational purposes. I'm now playing around with Mondly. I don't know, I just found it randomly and decided to try it out. But I think I want to continue with Pimsleur later because I really liked it. The Pimsleur is Egyptian Arabic though, which is more useful for me.

@PolyWolf I'm not learning to write it at this time. I'm learning so I can understand music lyrics because I listen to a lot of Arabic language music, mostly from Egypt.
