Between war, famine, plagues and really stupid punishments for really silly religious rules, it's a fucking miracle that we managed to survive this long as a species.

Exodus 35 1-3. In the records “Jesus” supported the Old Testament or at least he certainly never denounced it. I so tire of those trying to separate the two books and try to pick and choose what they believe. The point of my post is exactly this. It is satire but at its deepest is the truth of beliefs of people so ignorant to actually believe this even in the age of information. In the face of so many facts people would rather believe in 3,000 year old dogma than face the truth of life. We live and we die. That is all there is. In the meantime we have to make sense of our lives. The spiritual and transcendent only gets in the way.
If you wish to debate the Bible I think that you are in a great place.
