I saw a report on it yesterday. It's actually painted by a guy who did a version with Obama yukking it up with a bunch of democratic past presidents. He's selling laser reproductions of both online (Trump has one of the reproductions, gifted to him by one of his syncophants, the artist still has the original).

So Trump didn't commission this, although it would certainly be in character for him to do so. And although it's bipartisan kitsch, it's still kitsch.
