I feel that separation is an illusion. We have individual experiences, but nothing is actually separate. How do you feel about separation?
Are you referring to duality vs non-duality? I think our brains are pattern [mis]matching engines and so duality is inherent to how we perceive things. Everything involves comparisons. I don't think this is inherently a Bad Thing. In fact it is how we function in the world. The problem is with seeing things as competing rather than complementary in their differences, and an over-emphasis on difference (pattern mismatch) over similarity (pattern match). Natural selection has biased us to noticing difference as that is where potential threats lie -- and to ignore similarity as irrelevant.
Non-duality should really not be some mystic claim that all is one, it should be a recognition of interconnection as well as separateness.
