Beauty in nature takes my breath away. This time of year is bittersweet. Leaves to fall, gardens to mend and a house to batten down. Then I just need winter tires and gas for my snowblower.

The end of the garden season for us. Get ready for winter and look forward to spring. I like having the season reset and begin fresh.
Hiking is a transcendent, uplifting experience for me. I feel most grounded and centered high in the mountains.
I love nature, too.

We have snowfall with no accumulation. Not cold enough to freeze the ground so far.

Beautiful picture. We are having a lovely Autumn spell of weather here in Northern Ireland this past week or two...and very mild.

@flower_nut The rain will come here too I’m sure....usually rains quite a lot!
We had summer heat until a week ago, then a few rain storms that took down whatever fall colors that were out. But, we still have green trees to turn, so that's good. I love the beauty of fall! And, I love the first snowfall of the year. I get such a strange peaceful satisfaction from it. Ask me about snow in March, though, and I'm sick of it!
