Hello. Meeting new people, on-line and in person for me, has always been fun. Over the years -- in life, not here -- I have met some grumpy people, but if I'm nice they are nice. I’m so sorry you have anxiety writing here. I think for the most part you will find people extremely welcoming. If you’re just looking for fluff conversations that’s easy enough to find. If you’re looking for deep philosophical questions, you can find that as well! If you haven’t already, I would suggest looking through and joining groups you are interested in.

Just like any internet site, there are trolls and assholes here. Don’t be afraid to block people. I’ve only blocked about 5 but it’s made my time much more enjoyable.
