I maintain that everyone is already perfectly aware that supernatural events DO NOT HAPPEN.

Here's why few questions to demonstrate why.

-Globally how many taffic accidents have ever been successfully attributed to unicorns wandering on the highways?

-How many liability lawsuits have been blamed on giants?

-How many contract violations were caused by witchcraft?

-How many demons have been convicted of murder?

The answer to all these questions is zero. Now we have countless billions of examples of all kinds of modern court cases that can be attributed to naturalistic causes but not a single example of a case that has ever been attributed supernatural ones, not one, anywhere. Now given the complexity and scope of the modern legal system of western democracies we would expect to see a few such cases sometime somewhere, even if they are rare events. The fact that we don't is pretty compelling evidence that supernatural events don't occur.

After all if your daughter was raped behind a bar and the court actually ruled that the crime was committed by Satan and not and not the sex offender breaching probation would you consider that to be justice? I doubt it.

So the next time someone says miracles happen ask them when the court date is.
