So did the religious zealots transfix and bribe the Mexican and Central Americans to believe in Christianity and now decide that these "believers" need to be punished for seeking a safer/better life in America?

They were probably mostly Catholic already. I can't believe any of them still want to come to a hate filled country like the US when Mexico is asking them to stay there.
