I saw a post, in a group to which i do not and would not belong, claiming that christine blasey-ford's motivation to testify was monetary and she is now being offered millions in book deals. i can find nothing about this online except from breitbart, not exactly a trustworthy source, but it doesn't matter anyway; anyone with a heart and brain knows why she testified, and that she was telling the truth.

i did find one very sarcastically written article defending her testimony, and it went through all the ridiculous accusations made against her. they were numerous and disgusting. it was sadly humorous, but even that article made an error that i want to point out here: it said she waited until kavanaugh was nominated to make her accusation public. this is not true. she did this when she found out he was on the short list. had she been motivated by (as many said) politics and a desire to thwart trump's nominee, she would've waited to find out who the nominee was. instead, she accused the one who had assaulted her, regardless of whether or not he advanced to nomineeship.

anyway. if after the fact someone offered her a book deal, i don't care. let them. and let her accept or decline as she chooses. it won't change a thing.

I hope she does make some money after all the abuse she's enduring.

i don't see where that would be wrong, or where it would invalidate her testimony or anything else. of course the alt right would be burning her in effigy, but wait, haven't they been doing that all along?
