As the number of viral videos showing racists calling the cops of black and brown people increases, I've been wonder what the hell was going on...
Well, it might not be that these things are "increasing," and more that they're finally being seen. I'm especially disturbed by a guy calling 9-1-1 on a black lady in a grocery store, because they don't "have those people there."
This article was profoundly enlightening.
I used to be a 911 dispatcher. I had to respond to racist calls every day: The viral police call on a black family barbecuing in Oakland was an everyday occurrence.

I think they should be jailed.
@memorylikeasieve A big hefty fine would be great and also one they should be educated when it comes to discrimination. Give them a dose of "blue eyes versus brown eyes". You may not be familiar with it but you can google it. Jane Elliott a former teacher started it. It is amazing.
