Payback is a Bitch... every time I see a photo of the "Migrant Caravan" I am reminded of the migrant caravan of americanos crossing into Mejico Territory. How many of you were ever taught of the "Republc of Freedomia" or the "Green Flag Republic"? Now is called texas but used to be part of Mejico. Many of "Alamo" defenders were Mexican Citizens, not americanos, they gave up their american citizenship for land... free land provided by Mejico. They ran away from their "country". Including slave owner Jim Bowie, a Ciudadano Mejicano. Slavery was illegal on Mejico. The rest were illegals, Criminals by any Law. So they died unfortunately Traitors according to Mexican Law and often Criminals evading American Law. No different than confederate Traitors to the Union. Empires go up... empires come down. 200 years from now the Migrant Caravans will have a different name and will show a different purpose and agenda. All Empires end sooner or later and History once again will be re-written no different than the alamo legend. Maybe Hawaii is next but with a different twist in its move, pushing the Invaders into the Pacific. Payback is a Bitch indeed.
That's a big caravan and it is likely similar to others before it. What gets me is those who can look at this picture live on TV and see money changing hands within it. They know that somebody paid for it in order to make Trump look good. That's right. With the actions being taken how would it make him look bad?
Another fucking conspiracy theory?
@evidentialist Somebody started it saying the caravan was happening to make Trump look bad. I did the math and said it only makes Trump look good. Apparently he thinks that too with his big push for our border and all the claims made when the caravan is so far away. What better proof of a need for a wall and to scare us with immigrants?
@DenoPenno -- Indeed, but it is also an incredible stretch to think anyone would be willing to walk 2500 to 3000 miles merely to be turned back at the border for any reason other than desperation. Granted, Trumpers don't seem to be able to make the effort to think quite that much, but it's still a stretch, whichever way one wants to look at it.
Yep, the majority of Anglos in Tejas were immigrants and subject to Mexican law. For Mexico, just as it would be for the US, the rebellion was a treasonous act. History is always written by and for the winner. Asi es.
You are a Wise man.
