So, what about those of us who don't have kids?

Not every member of the species lives to procreate, so we just kinda skip that part of the process.

@Dillon34 Well, us childless ones still contribute -- sometimes as much or more -- so to say that all we do is be born, procreate, and die is kind of bleak, so I don't follow that. Life has whatever meaning you give to it.

There is no inherent meaning to life. We create our own meaning.

I agree, but put simply, we live to breed and then die. Anything else that happens in between is up to us.
