OK, so who are the psychos? I mean, I know the Republicans has the majority or something, but I don’t want to make any assumptions.

@indirect76 The Republicans have been Climate Change Deniers since Regan, and probably before. That means they support the mass extinction tha is curently underway, and making the Earth uninhabitable for us because soon the Tundra in Alaska, Canada and Siberia will release green house gasses that are more than ten times worse than we already have. If we don't stop it, the ocean will become more and more acidic and red algae blooms will waft cyanide over the Earth. Perhaps in a thousand years there will be fresh breathable air again. That is a worst case scenario, and I don't know if it will occur, nor how likely it is to occur. It's speculation that it will occur from Climate Change, the cyanide part, but it's happened in the past. The greenhouse gasses will be released from the Tundra, according to the UN, unless we change our lifestyle by 2030. That's not the only extinction scenario. The idea that a prepper can do enough to live through a millennia of cyanide is ridiculous.

In other words, the Republicans are running towards human extinction because the oil, coal, and other corporations want to make more money. That, to me, means they are psychos.

Election

@Science-guy Sorry. I’m kind of knew it was about the election given that we are in the politics section. I guess I’m just curious what you mean exactly. Did your side lose? What side was it? We’re you upset with voter turnout? What was the one simple task?

@indirect76 the one task America had was voting democrat to get rid of as many republicans in Congress as possible. We did regain control of the house but not the senate.

@indirect76 I am Canadian. The simple task was to come to the realization that a tin pot god needed to be seriously throttled back. In my opinion, the American electorate has simply hobbled democracy by only recapturing the (arguably) lesser house. I suppose we will need to see how it plays out with all of the back room dealing that no one ever benefits from, except the political groups
