Backwards world, we put soft porn and nakedness and put them behind sleeves and on the top shelf to protect our young people from witnessing such material and yet in any shop you go in about perfect height for kids aged 7 or 8 to read are a wide range of magazines with huge bold headlines such as,
"I SET FIRE TO MYSELF TO FORGET CHILD RAPE"
"MY JEALOUS SISTER SLAUGHTERED MY DAUGHTER WHILE SHE SCREAMED"
"MY MOTHER WATCHED WHILE I WAS GANGRAPED"
I have been saying this for years but the other day i saw a little lady about 9 or so stood reading these headlines and i felt horrified at what confusion this must be causing in her young mind, reading that stuff doesnt do me any favours so how do you compute at 9 that the world we live in is full of evil like this.
We give such a confused message to our children, nudity is nothing to be ashamed of and we have sex education in schools because sex will be a part of everyone's life when the time is right. I would rather explain an adult image to my child that try to explain any of the headlines that frequent the front covers of this trash.
