Today is Veteran's Day. Today, I remember the kids I went to school with, from Kindergarten through High School. I remember those that I hung out with in Bars after High School (the drinking age was 18 back then). I remember those that I went through Boot Camp at Parris Island with. I remember some of the pilots that trained in the squadron I was in. I never went to Vietnam, but many of the people that I knew did. Some came home alive, and some didn't. They all came home broken in some way. At this point in time, I can recall some of their faces and I can recall some of their names, but I can only put a few of them together. It's my hope that future generations won't have to remember those that fought and, in some cases, died because of war.

Well, it is business as usual for the military, no change there. After all the US has invaded more than 20 countries since the second world war.
