First, he addressed yoga poses.
"They were designed, they were created with demonic intent, to open you up to demonic power because Hinduism is demonic," Lindell said. So people shouldn't do it "Doggy Style" anymore? Poppycock! I laughed so hard at this! [msn.com]

"To say the positions of yoga are no more than exercise are tantamount to saying water baptism is just aqua aerobics," Lindell said.
Nope. Aqua aerobics has a purpose. Still, some asanas do resemble scenes from horror movies involving possession - the scorpion asana, for one.

Well basically the line is, anything different is demonic / Satanic / sinful. All other religions are in that category to them. Even borrowing the secular health aspects of Hinduism (Hatha Yoga) or Buddhism (secular meditation) would be the work of the devil. They teach their people to fear difference, to fear even learning unless it's totally vetted and pre-approved by their fearless ... er ... fear-mongering leaders.

Damn! Where is the devil and why isn't he defending himself? LOL!!!

A yoga studio just got targeted by a shooter. And then there's this nut preaching this twaddle about yoga!

I took Yoga classes for six years and it had zero religious implications.

What a jerk this man is to impact someone's livelihood through his ignorant preaching.

It'd be great if they could sue him for defamation.

It’s hard to believe there are people so ignorant and close-minded. What can we do about it? Maybe laughter is our best option.

It's even tougher knowing that there are people who believe it. 😟
