Most of Ireland is behind the outrage on this event. Underhand tactics by the barrister, really low.

That's very sad.. and somehow worse because a jury may have been persuaded by it..

Of course it is outrageous, it seems even worse when it was a female defence barrister who introduced the evidence of the thong in court and suggested because the girl was wearing it she was inviting the man to have sex with her. It should be a woman’s prerogative to wear sexy underwear if she wishes without the implication that she must therefore be inviting men to have unsolicited sex with her. The laws need to be changed in Ireland and other countries which allow this sort of shaming and blaming of victims.
