Sometimes I wonder why I even bothered to wake up today.
You have no idea how much it hurts me to read this. I wish I could hug you so hard.
Those are the days you wake up, go out, and just make mischief. Get hydrophobic spray and paint something snarky on a sidewalk. It'll make the next storm hilarious. Post signs for a cat you're not missing.
So I went and read your bio and I copied this quote from you (which btw, is phenomenal)
"I love life. Maybe I should have just said that at the beginning? The absurdity, the complexity, the unpredictability of the journey."
On these hard days, remember it is the journey....
Also, look at days like this - it is cold out, grab a book, snuggle up in that bed and enjoy the peace for a day. It is ok to take a day.....
I have lived through Several hell-on-earth scenarios in my 70 years! And have the actual & mental scars to prove it! I am so happy and filled with gratitude to the universe for this absolutely wonderful time in my life...friends, "enough" money, peaceful days. I wish you Appreciation of what you have!
Well, dear, its not like you have a choice! Whether you get out of bed is your choice.
I look forward to tea in the morning. Then I have to wake up my son and get him ready for breakfast. I enjoy our conversation at breakfast. He's into space, math and science, so it's always interesting.
Hope your mood lightens.....we are here to listen and help if we can. Life is better than the alternative.....!
