This is an absolutely disgusting judicial decision and I can only assume because of the judge's Jewish sounding name is being made to protect the equally barbaric Jewish religious practice of circumcising small boys without their informed adult consent.

Proper washing of the penis is required if you are not circumcised. Wearing tighty whities is not recommended either. I think most men who are uncut have figured this out but apparently not.

Unfortunately, doctors are not much better. Several recently let me develop a form of thrush arising from the side effect of a medication they had prescribed. After six months of discomfort and worry it was cured by a one shot tablet that didn't even require doctor prescription.
I have just been reading the following and am horrified at the number of deaths occurring in American hospitals from this:

@FrayedBear Yes, medications can make all the personal hygiene a moot point because the natural balance of the body is altered. There are now some forms resistant to nystatin.

There are many benefits of being circumcised including decreased risk of urinary tract infections,A reduced risk of some Sexually transmitted diseases in men,Protection against penile cancer and a reduced risk of cervical cancer in female sex partners,prevention of balanitis,and balanoposthitis,prevention of phimosis .And of course better hygiene.

Wrong. At the time of circumcision of children these illnesses are rarely present. If you wish to carry out preventative surgery why not decree masectomies for all baby girls to prevent future breast cancer?
The argument doesn't wash.

@FrayedBear I would say that is a ridiculous comparison.

@juli15 Why is it ridiculous?

@juli15, @FrayedBear .Its not a ridiculous comparison it’s a MORONIC comparison

@HarrySlick How so Harry?Why don't tell us why you think male circumcision is a good thing so that we can grasp the intelligence if not genius of your beliefs?

@FrayedBear The majority of the comments on your post explain why I think it is a good thing .Also I speak from personal experience.My self ,family members and research .Is this sufficient enough reason genius or would you prefer a long and boring post repeating the comments from the other members on your post that you do not seem to grasp.

@HarrySlick So Harry, having been personally circumcised - was that as an infant, child or adult you now believe that you have never had urinary tract infections,A reduced risk of some Sexually transmitted diseases in men,Protection against penile cancer and a reduced risk of cervical cancer in female sex partners,prevention of balanitis,and balanoposthitis,prevention of phimosis you think that it is all due to your circumcision?
Do you believe that you are a deity to decree such?
And of course someone mentions better hygiene which of course totally ignores the protective functions of the foreskin and the secretions that lodge under it.
Just as the appendix is now considered to be an important part of the digestive system its removal is no longer undertaken for preventative measures. You do not like my mastectomy comparison because you probably see it as a useful nurturing organ for child and father and of course candy for your eyes. Let's go further and look at the way that the gall bladder is hastily removed before other treatments are used to remove gall stones. Do you equally support such surgery?
Methinks Harry that you were not given free choice to keep your foreskin, were quite possibly cut to make you look like your circumcised father, given an excuse for not performing basic hygiene each day, not needing to be taught how not to urinate on the floor or yourself. You have blindly carried the practice on with your sons and are now trying to justify your barbarity.

@HarrySlick perhaps you should also read my reply to @Emanuele below but just in case that is not possible I will reproduce it:
I have just had to have my knee replaced. I would prefer it had not had to occur, it did. That's life. Are you aware that up to two out of every six thousand circumcisions of infants end in death and many more result in lifelong problems of the functioning of the penis over and above simple loss of sensitivity and protection from some diseases?

Men are circumcised as babies because if they waited for them to reach the age of informed consent, few would agree to it.

In other words deprive them of whole bodies and the right to make their own decisions.

Personally I am glad I had the procedure .I had an acquaintance that had to be circumcised in adulthood due to complications I wish not to elaborate on here.

I never hear of men complaining about being circumcised.Most are happy they were including myself ,my two brothers and my father .Men have more issues later in life from not being circumcised than the other way around.

No, the problems later in life do not come from being uncircumcised but from failure to employ basic hygiene and cure problems like thrush.

I personally know a guy who's circumsion did not go well. As an adult his penis, due to the scar tissue, is bent upwards. It is not painfull but not particularly attractive. The good news is his woman and he "fit" perfectly(totally hits her g-spot like no other). Her issue is convincing him it is NOT an issue. He really does have some self esteem issue associated with this scaring. We all know body image regardless of reality can effect us. The issue is cleaniness. If a man is uncut he needs to keep it clean and not wear tighty whities. Boxers or nothing.

I think you are correct, if the hideous practice of cutting bits of infants in one religion is banned, then it is only logical and right that the cutting bits off of infants in a different religion would soon follow it in to the courts.
The defence of such filthy practices, the cruelty and evil elective involuntary none consensual surgery carried out on children in the name of religious freedom is both ludicrous and hypocritical.
If the removal of a body part was done in the name of Satan, or Cernunnos the whole country would be up in arms demanding the perpetrator parents should be imprisoned and the child taken in to care but the Abrahamic genocidal god commands it and it is fine and perfectly reasonable thing to do.

Thanks Len.
There is a very old joke " Who other than Jews, Americans and Australians would be so stupid as to cut something of a perfectly functioning part of the human body without knowing what it does!"
As I keep saying the attempt to rationalise its removal is not logical. If it was baby girl's future health in question then logically they would all be given masectomies to prevent future breast cancer.

@FrayedBear Lets' not forget the cervix, ovaries and uterus.

@silverotter11 Nervous laughter. To even mention what you do will result in someone somewhere asking why don't we amputate little Cynthia's cervix, ovaries or uterus like they were talking about on Agnostics![qz.com]
