  1. In the first week of the year I lost a very good friend to cancer. By the middle of the first month, I met a wonderful man (with whom I currently live and with whom I met on this site!). The following week, my son tore his ACL and required surgery. A week later, my best friend came to visit for 10 days. The first month of the year set the tone for the remainder of the year, being a rollercoaster of emotions.

Since January, I’ve become vegan and fallen in love, have seen more high points than low ones in my children’s lives, have incurred another devastating loss of a lifelong friend, and just recently, have heard saddening news for a dear friend’s family.

I’m sending out positive energy (who knows if it works) for a plethora of good news, thoughts and events to happen for not only the remainder of 2018, but also for the New Year, 2019. May each of you find yourselves grateful in the moment shared with family and friends and individually, relish the memories you make, and have or take steps toward no regrets in your reflections on life.

Be good peeps. Comma optional.
