I was brought up in a Christian house hold. My father was a church deakin and my mum was a Sunday school teacher (still is). I can't remember a time in my life where I actually believed in God.
Anyone else always had an issue with believing in invisible beings?

I think I lumped religion and gods in with Santa, The Tooth Fairy, and Easter Bunny. For some reason, my brain has always worked analytically. Spirituality has never made sense to me.

I do believe in invisible things for which there is sufficient evidence (e.g. radio waves, air, etc.). God has not yet qualified.

Always had doubts, but I went alogn with the program as a kid, because it kept peaces and it kept peace in the family.

Yup it began when I found out about Santa and I started challenging all these made up individuals ,tooth fairy, trinity, monkey gods, Hindus Muslims etc. It was a big year for me.

Not to be a smartass, just for your edification, I think it's spelled deacon. But a bullshit artist by any other name is just as stinky eh? And yeah, I convinced myself to believe for a little while, but the many mental gymnastics and acceptance of poor explanations required never sat well with me.

I noticed the misspelling myself, but as i am legally blind and miss a lot of errors myself, I usually let misspellings go. It is deacon.
