Funny and it reminds of a scary time on a trip to Viet Nam. If you want to cross a street there you have to not let everything coming you way keep you from crossing. We were going from my sister-in-law's family home to our hotel some distance away. Each member of the family took each of us (there were 7) on their scooter's along with our luggage. Most of the way there I closed my eyes. When we got to the hotel my driver pointed out that the hotel was across a wide street and there he headed, right against the oncoming traffic (and there was a lot). It was definitely an eye closure for me but one member was having so much fun she wanted to do it again.
Sometimes you have to get in the 'wrong' lane to make a statement and get where you're going!

I'm reading a book that says the left side of our brain focusses on what it wants to deal with specifically while the other side watches the big picture. I think if I tried to that consciously, I would be goggle-eyed.

LOL! Yeah, especially if they are coming fast!
