Their first insistence IS absolutely that it is a choice. But even if you convince some of them that the feelings are no choice, they turn right around and insist it is "a cross to bear," a test, and that the behavior still is grave sin. So their formula goes something like...."don't be queer. If you are queer, don't act on it. Be celibate and alone, OR find another "warped" queer to couple up with and publicly pretend to be a straight, cis' couple. In other words, lie; its for the glory of God. Even as they tell us to be straight, they will never honestly believe we are. How's that for hypocrisy?
