What if Ted Cruz had been elected, instead of Donald Trump?
And, for the Poll: Would the world be a better place with Ted Cruz as president?
I can’t believe I’m saying this as Cruz is a disgusting POS as well for letting the pussy grabber in chief trumpski disgrace his wife. Cruz at least has some political experience and a few thousand less skeletons in his closet. I doubt he would have so many international conflicts of interest. Cruz has done absolutely nothing for Texas and barely won re-election, he’s universally hated on both sides of the aisle. But.. 45 is still a million times worse.
I agree with what you wrote about Cruz letting Trump disgrace his wife -- I was disappointed in his lack of response, and then his kowtowing to Trump later. What I liked about Cruz was that he is very intelligent and acted on principle, even though I don't agree with some of his principles, and even though he has changed his principles since Trump was elected. He, when asked about how his religious beliefs would affect his decisions as president, said something like "I'm not running for Theocrat in chief."
Even if Ted Cruz had won the republican nomination I doubt he could have won in the general election as he’s very conservative and affiliated to much with the religous right but he would have been good had he been able to win. I’m happy with Trump so far and will likely vote for him again.
The stupid question option is funny..
Yes, it was meant to be funny, but an option. I dislike surveys or polls that give false alternatives, like, "Have you stopped beating your wife: YES or NO", when my answer may be, "I don't have a wife, or Sometimes."
