It has been my experience, generally, that when you disagree with someone on a matter, it is merely two people thinking differently. For religious people they don’t see you thinking differently, but wrongly.

There’s always 3 sides to every debate their side, your side and then the truth. People tend to let personal opinion, bias, prejudice, external influences ie:religious and/or political as well as the “ the i was raised to believe “ which most common in southern United States.

Which is why it’s actually the will to the one who’s right that actually causes people to not concede to facts but instead opinions.
