Does anybody have any strong evidence and arguments (on both sides of this issue) that organic food is as good as regular food (nutritionally as well as philosophically speaking?)

Is there any good evidence from anybody here that "Organic Food Is Better For You Because It Has No Pesticides?"
Yes, Halweil, Brian. 2006. "CAN ORGANIC FARMING FEED US ALL?" World Watch, May, 18-24. [fresno.idm.oclc.org]

evidence? not sharable. like @kiramea, i use my taste buds, for one thing. then, i guess we all know that we'd rather not eat chemicals and stuff that's not food than otherwise, right? i grow my own stuff in the garden when i can and when i have a good year lol. my tomatoes taste SO much better than store-bought!

I don't know if it's "evidence", but for me organic food usually taste better than commercially grown food. I also feel it's better for me because I'm not eating all that artificial waxes (no matter how good you wash the food, I'm sure the waxes are still there), pesticides, etc.

As for GMO products, I will NEVER knowingly consume them. I personally feel that there hasn't been any long term effects studies done on them, and what studies have been done hasn't proven to me that they are safe.

Lower chances of cancer in true organic foods because it is not sprayed with pesticides. The downside in buying organic foods is that is double the costs and downright expensive. It costs a lot to be healthy. What about the people who are low income who cannot afford to buy organic foods?
