About using VISA for you business - It's around the holidays, so I figure this is the proper time to share this again. A number of years ago, my brother and I had a small online business, selling toys and action figures. We decided to go with VISA as our check out option for customers. When we were working out the type of set up, the rep from Visa was pushing the fraud insurance in case we got ripped off by stolen identity. We purchased it to be on the safe side.

About a month later, I get a suspicious order for about $500 worth of action figures. I immediately called Visa and they looked into it. Five minutes later, they call me back and tell me, ""We checked into the purchase and you can go ahead and send them. I also notice you have the seller insurance so there's no need to call back to verify with us, ever". I thanked him and sent out the packages.

A few days later we get a call from our bank, telling us Visa retracted the $500 from our account because the purchase was from a stolen card. Well naturally we called Visa. They told us the insurance would not be paid and flat out denied ever telling us that it was safe to send the items out. In other words, fuck you.

I've been telling people what happened for years and always ask them to spread the word. Please feel free to do so and thank you for reading this!

I don't trust any banks, just look at the mess they are making around the world. Put your money in building societies and non for profit organisations.
