My Dad was such a racist and so paranoid that he died because he refused to receive blood transfusions for fear it may have come from a person who was Black.
This is what I am fighting against as I was raised this way. It's a long difficult struggle to put this kind of thinking behind me, it still rears its ugly head for a short time before I can stuff it back down again and think rationally.

Good for you and don’t give up the fight
The hypocrisy of religion is founded in the Scientific fact that the only thing which makes us different from each other is Blood Type. This enables the ability to transfer organs as well as blood between each other regardless of race or nationality. That the Jews of Israel do buy Palestinian Organs for transplant is of no secret to the Medical and International World. I feel sorry for all the Jehovah Witnesses who adhere to this religious faux pas which is written into their beliefs.
