Technically I'm both. I prefer that a woman doesn't have an abortion, but it's not business if she does.

But I suspect that goes against the spirit of the poll, so I voted pro-choice.

I have an adopted daughter. I had someone ask me how I could be pro-choice when I have adopted a child. I want her to have the right to choose if needed.

My opinion is that criminalizing and not allowing abortion simply don't work. Whoever whats to abort will do it and unless you live in a totalitarian, super intrusive, overcontroling state, there is nothing that the law can do to avoid it.
So the only effect of this kind of treatment is, whoever have money to do a safe abort will be handled by "good" clandestine places and be taken care by good medics in case something goes wrong.
Who do not have money will need luck.
So allow it and let them do in a safety place.
the state is not there to judge moral, it is there to preserve human rights. The fetus/baby/proto-human/bunch of cells (or wathever you consider it) will be killed no matter what, so lets preserve the life of the mother maybe or even try to give support and show the options when she tells that she will abort, and maybe we can even reduce the number of abortions.
